PAPER NATURAL HISTORIES

Sunday 4 October to Saturday 17 October 2009

About the artist

Angeline O’Day is a New Gisborne mother with a life-long passion for art, her

current collection of 3D paper collage designs has been influenced by her

fascination with science. You can see that influence, reminiscent of old, natural

specimens with a lot of old laboratory specimens and butterfly specimens.

Her vision has taken off with two of her artwork collections, known as Baby

Butterflies and Paper Forests, to be shown at three locations around the country.

The Paper Forests series is currently appearing at The National Gallery of Australia

alongside the McCubbiB exhibition.
