Joyce A. Hopwood-Knights is a contemporary artist and landscape painter, including seascapes and still life. She lives in Kyneton, northern central Victoria, where she has a working studio. Initially she studied art with Raymond Ellis, accomplished landscape artist at his studio in Kyneton and furthered her studies with Salvatore Triglia of Lancefield Victoria. She is an exhibiting member of Sherbrooke Art Society of Victoria and Macedon Ranges Art Group Victoria. Recently her work was published in The Australian Artist’s Palette Magazine as a feature artist.

At the moment she is extremely busy in her studio creating paintings for her forthcoming solo exhibition in May ’09 at the Studio Whites Gallery in Kyneton. This is a very exciting time for her – although she has exhibited her work locally, this will be her first solo exhibition, exhibiting some 25 works.
